The following are several external sites from around the world with resources for additional information about nanotechnology.

Broad External Resources:

  • 国家纳米技术计划
The National Nanotechnology Initiative consists of the individual and cooperative nanotechnology-related activities of 25 U.S. federal agencies with a range of research and regulatory roles and responsibilities.
  • Nano Science and Technology Institute
The Nano Science and Technology Institute is chartered with the promotion and integration of nano and other advanced technologies through education, technology and business development.
  • Israel National Nanotechnology Gateway
The Israel National Nanotechnology Initiative sets national goals and priorities and oversees programs to advance nanotechnology in Israel.
  • 国家纳米技术基础设施网络
The National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network ( NNIN ) is an integrated partnership of thirteen user facilities, supported by NSF, providing unparalleled opportunities for nanoscience and nanotechnology research.
  • 计算纳米技术网络
The Network for Computational Nanotechnology is funded by the National Science Foundation to support the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) by designing, constructing, deploying, and operating a cyber-resource for nanotechnology theory, modeling, and simulation.
  • TryEngineering.org
TryEngineering.org is a portal about engineering and engineering careers designed to help young people understand better what engineering means, and how an engineering career can be made part of their future.

Educational Resources:

  • Nanohub.org
Online simulation and other resources for nanoscience and nanotechnology; nanoHUB.org was created by the NSF-funded Network for Computational Nanotechnology.
  • Nanoscience and Technology Resources for Teachers
Provided by the 国家纳米技术计划, this site includes networking and educational opportunities in the area of nanotechnology.
  • Nanoscience Classroom Resources
The National Science Foundation provides a collection of lessons and web resources aimed at classroom teachers, their students, and their students’ families.
